About Trip

Muktinath is the sacred place which has a great religious importance for both Hindus and Buddhists. According to Hindu Myth, it is believed that the world is “Maya” (an illusion) of a life cycle of birth and rebirth. Everybody seeks to get rid of this cycle and get Nirvana. A visit to Muktinath will help to achieve this goal. There are 108 waterspouts in the backyard of this temple where frozen water continuously flow from the bullhead and two Kunda (ponds in front of the temple). So, taking bath in these 108 waterspouts and two Kunda (ponds) believes to bring salvation.

Pokhara is one of the most beautiful city and second largest tourist’s destinations in Nepal. Pokhara is also called “City of Lakes”. Pokhara is also famous for boating, and extreme sports like rafting, canoying, bunjee jumping, para-gliding and zip flying. Three out of the ten highest mountains in the world can be viewed very closely from Pokhara. It is also a base for trekkers undertaking the Annapurna Circuit.

Kathmandu is the capital city of Nepal which is also known as “City of Thousand Temples). Kathmandu is culturally rich city where there are many religious temples, monuments and holy river.  It is said that Kathmandu was a lake in the past and was made habitable by Manjushree, who cut open the hill to south Chovar) as to allow the water of lake to flow out.

It is said that Kathmandu city was named after " Kastha-Mandap" meaning the temple made of wood in Sanskrit , an imposing pagoda near Hanuman Dhoka Palace. It was built in 1596 out of a single tree by King Laxmi Narashingha Malla.

  • Day 01KathmanduAssistance upon arrival in Kathmandu airport. Welcome by our representative and check in hotel. In the evening worship in Pashupatinath Temple at the time of evening Aarati.

  • Day 02Kathmandu to Pokhara by plane After breakfast Darshan of Bhudha Nilkantha (Jalanarayana) then drive to airport for fly to Pokhara. Day time sightseeing of Pokhara city (boating on Fewa Lake, David’s falls, Mahadev Cave and International Mountain museum). In evening, stroll around lake side and Pokhara market. Overnight at hotel.
  • Day 03Pokhara- Muktinath- PokharaEarly morning, transfer to the airport for your charter flight to Muktinath. Helicopter drop us in helipad and walk or take bike to go Temple. Perform worship (puja), darsan by taking holy bath in the sacred 108 water spouts surrounding the temple; Also Darshan of Jwalamai, Patal Ganga, Shiva Mandir will be made within one hour. Then fly to Kagbhusundi Sarovar (Tilicho Lake). Stay some time to view the lake in the highest place in the world. Fly back to Pokhara and free day for the rest
  • Day 04Pokhara to Kathmandu by plane and Kathmandu Sightseeing .In the morning fly back from Pokhara to Kathmandu. Kathmandu sightseeing: Kathmandu durbar square, Swoyambhu nath Stupa , Bouddhanath. After sightseeing free day for shopping and in the evening dinner at Nepali restaurant with cultural dance. Overnight at hotel.
  • Day 05Departure for onward destination.
